Hamm Sandwich

We're mad about Mad Men's dreamy Jon Hamm and silver foxy John Slattery.

We would like to seduce them, then take their suits.

  1. Random thoughts:
1.I've never gotten to see this show, and *so* want to. (I don't have the channel alas.)

2.Bryan Batt, who plays someone or another on the show...is a native New Orleanian. He and I were in college together actually, though I was a freshman and he was a graduating senior. I would see him on campus swanning around.

3.John Slattery I've long had a crush on...in many things.

  2. Oh, I've never seen the show, either. I almost never watch television. But I've heard the buzz about its incredible set and costume design; and the September issue of GQ features Slattery looking incredibly dapper (and hot) in a selection of plaid suits. Needless to say, I want them all.

Bryan Batt was a cutie about 10 years ago. Now he looks like a young Rex Reed, which is *not* a compliment. Talented actor, though, and just a hair less annoying than Mario Cantone.

  3. You are not alone. I like to pretend I'm Joan with Sterling. He is a sexy silver fox!

  4. There's a guy I run into around the nightspots of NYC who looks *just* like John Slattery -- only much gayer. Since I don't watch TV at all, I did a total "WTF?!" when I came across photos of Slattery in "Mad Men," since the resemblance is uncanny.

I'd compliment the gentleman I see in New York on his resemblance to someone so foxy, but, frankly, I'm rather competitive with him in the Best Dressed category, so I'll be petty and keep it to myself. (Even though HE was kind enough to approach me one night to tell me that I "always look impeccable" when he sees me. Whatever. No one said I was a saint!)

  5. Goodness...it's like an Oscar Wilde short story.
Two dazzling best dressed rivals flirt their way into an ironic romance!

  6. LOL! Well, I'll let you know how it all turns out. I suspect it'll never work out, as he's a tad bigger than I, and I wouldn't be able to share his wardrobe -- which renders him slightly useless in my life.
